Welcome, May 2024!

This month, we may feel and experience the energies of adventure, changes, curiosity, life lessons, magnetism, and vitality. Be mindful if fear around your personal power or even the urge to be inconsistent or unreliable in some possible actions arises. Now, more than ever before, we will feel an inner call to explore ourselves, others, and things around us. This may be as simple as trying new food, a fresh style, or even going to an adventure park. This month holds the energy of a “perfect day.” Let me explain further.

In 2020, while driving between New Hampshire and Connecticut, which I have done hundreds of times, I was guided to take a different way home and go through Vermont. I hadn’t been in Vermont for at least thirty years. I am not going to lie, I was hesitant. Part of me just wanted to go home, and I wasn’t sure I wanted to stray from the standard path.

Following my instinct, I took the turn for Vermont, and because I was having so much fun, this slight detour ended up being an extended 8-hour trip. I remember driving through the Green Mountain National Forest when one of my favorite jams came on the radio. With no clouds in the sky and the sun shining, I put the windows down, opened the sunroof, and yelled out the window, “BEST DAY EVER!” (see picture in the second section below of this adventure.) This month is about the frequency of your own experience. You too may be faced with going the same familiar safe route, or you may just choose to be curious and go the more adventurous route, like wearing tie-dye instead of black. My point is, if adventure calls this month, make sure you answer and take a chance on how that journey can change you for the better. The universe really wants us to take charge of the changes that occur and know that we play a part in those changes, and they can be influenced by the decisions we make daily.

This month’s playlist will speak directly to your soul. Like a best friend calling your name and asking you if you are ready. Your response will be entirely up to you. Just as one planetary retrograde ends, Pluto, the planet of resurrection and change (life, death, and rebirth),goes retrograde in Aquarius on May 2nd. Pluto’s association with the underworld means you will be taken on a different journey than perhaps you initially anticipated. Its purpose during retrograde is to have one examine toxic beliefs, patterns, and deep-rooted wounds of all kinds.

Will you be willing to once more rise like the phoenix and grow? Or are you going to stay burning in the same old fire? Pluto can help you heal and step into your true empowerment.

Here are some other essential things to look out for this month:

May6th /7th – Eta Aquarids Meteor Shower

The Eta Aquarids is an above-average shower capable of producing up to 60 meteors per hour at its peak. Most of the activity is seen in the Southern Hemisphere. In the Northern Hemisphere, the rate can reach about 30 meteors per hour. It is produced by dust particles left behind by comet Halley, which has been observed in the night sky since ancient times. The shower runs annually from April 19th to May 28th. It peaks this year on the night of May 6th and the morning of May 7th. The nearly new moon means dark skies for what should be an excellent show this year. Best viewing will be from a dark location after midnight.

May7th/8th – New Moon in Taurus

The Moon will be located on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will not be visible in the night sky. This is the best time of the month to observe faint objects such as galaxies and star clusters because there is no moonlight to interfere. This New Moon offers fun and sweet aspects to Jupiter, Neptune, Saturn, Uranus, and Venus, creating just the right spice you need to create something new and special in your life. Make this day count!

May23rd – Full Moon in Sagittarius

The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be fully illuminated. This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Flower Moon because this was the time of year when spring flowers appeared in abundance. This moon has also been known as the Corn Planting Moon and the Milk Moon. This Full Moon is made with Love this year, as Venus plays a major role, and it will be a great day to break out the glamour you may have been saving for the right occasion. A day of good fortune is the perfect time to have your hidden sparkles on standby and ready to go!

March 2024: Compassion, Growth, & Inspiration …

Welcome, March 2024!

This month, we may feel and experience the energies of compassion, energy expansion, growth, inspiration, and spend time reflecting on the past, present, and future as you continue to cultivate your path ahead. I have been through so many challenges in the last few months, yet I am excited to continue growing and healing with the new Spring season. There is something special about witnessing the rebirth of nature, when the animals, flowers, and trees awaken from the Winter months. This wondrous time mirrors our own healing process in life, and how after a period of inward reflection, we can lift our faces to the sky and once again say hello to the world, reborn in our own way. Many of you have probably heard that everything in life is a vibration, but did you know that the cells in our bodies carry information from every lifetime of our soul? So, when you do the inner work on yourself, you are doing it for the past, present and future you all at the same time. As Spring is upon us this month, we can all expect a moment when we feel that the lights had been off, and now they are coming on again. Light is coming back to the world to balance things.

I was reflecting on a personal story of change recently. If this sounds familiar, raise your hand. The year 2001, the time… a couple of days before Senior Prom. With my first impending nodal return and a Solar Eclipse in my first house (house of self) approaching (completely unaware at the time that a nodal return is like a realignment of a destined path), I did what any teenage girl would have done. I went over to a friend’s house with a store-brand hair highlight kit we had both purchased! (Trust me, I know better now!) This was one of those kits that involved placing a cap on your head and threading strands of hair through tiny holes to get the perfect highlight. Or so the box claimed. To make a long and funny story shorter, I can tell you, by the end of that experience, I turned to my friend and I said, “I think something went really wrong.” As I looked in the mirror, I saw that my entire head, which started off as a dark brown, was now very bleach blond. Then, I had to take corrective measures and get professional help. With all the changes in the air, if you want to create drastic changes in life, sometimes it is easier to seek the right kind of help from the beginning instead of trying to do it all yourself.

With the energies this month, we also experience Daylight savings on the 10th. If you find yourself having a hard time with the time change, try drinking more water and doing some mild exercise to help avoid a hard transition with turning the clocks forward.

Use March to look at these areas in your life, and see what inspires you? Where do you need growth? What areas do you have compassion for others and passions within you? Harness that and take action on it.

As we enter into the last retrograde free month of 2024, this is the perfect moment to make adjustments to the plan. Perhaps you need to let something go, to make room for something new to enter. Or, you may need to make different personal choices, or co-create a brand-new path for yourself. Whatever you have been inwardly planting the last few months, itis now time to put those seeds in the light and start to watch them as they begin to grow. My personal experience tells me that the best way to let something grow is organically, and without any personal attachments to a desired outcome. This can be incredibly difficult to do sometimes, and that is where the art of surrendering can come in very handy.

March 10th – New Moon in Pisces

The Moon will be located on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will not be visible in the night sky. This positive new moon will spark creativity, imagination, and ingenuity that Walt Disney would have loved to harness. This is the best time of the month to observe faint objects such as galaxies and star clusters because there is no moonlight to interfere.

March 19th/20th – Spring Equinox

The Sun will shine directly on the equator, and there will be nearly equal amounts of day and night throughout the world. This is also the first day of spring (vernal equinox) in the Northern Hemisphere and the first day of fall (autumnal equinox) in the Southern Hemisphere.

March 25th – Full Moon & Penumbral Lunar Eclipse in Libra

The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be fully illuminated. An epiphany will arise in you this moon as you reach a pinnacle moment on your path, and this moment promises upcoming joy. This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Worm Moon because this was the time of year when the ground would begin to soften and the earthworms would reappear. A penumbral lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes through the Earth’s partial shadow, or penumbra. During this type of eclipse, the Moon will darken slightly but not completely. The eclipse will be visible throughout all North America, Mexico, Central America, and South America. Remember, even if you can’t see it where you are, you will certainly still feel it!

February 2024: Balance, Grace, & Love…

Welcome, February 2024!

This month, we may feel and experience the energies of balance, decisiveness, gentle kindness, grace, love, and understanding. The energies around us will feel like a huge sigh of relief for our systems, and we will be able to connect with our emotions in a truly deeper way if we give ourselves permission to look through the looking glass and trust our intuition.

February also provides us with the opportunity to take an inventory of “The Self.” Take a good look at your life and see what has expired, what’s still good, or what is in need of updating, then make adjustments as you are guided intuitively. Remember, as you update your life, things around you will also need updating. Itis best to dismiss any resistance to this new inventory sheet – try your best to see how everything is going to work out and trust that it just will. I have had some time to contemplate the last 18 years this month while Pluto, the planet of transformation, was dancing with my sun, and I can say with absolute certainty that I am a better person because of this transit. While the tiny slow-moving planet can seem like it is taking a Sunday stroll and going at the pace it wants, my advice to all Aquarius Moon, Rising, and Suns is that itis best to embrace the changes instead of resisting them, and cultivate your inner equilibrium. What a month this will be for all of us to start doing that!

Uranus will play a significant role with this moon, providing us all with the opportunity to move quickly through challenges. This is the best time of the month to observe faint objects such as galaxies and star clusters because there is no moonlight to interfere.

February 24th – Full Moon in Virgo

The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun, and its face will be fully illuminated. This lucky full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Snow Moon because the heaviest snows usually fell during this time of the year. Since the harsh weather made hunting difficult, this moon has also been known by some tribes as the Hunger Moon. With Jupiter and Saturn making friendly aspects to this moon, many will benefit from positive breaks, good luck, and happy results. This is a great day to connect with nature.

January 2024:Creation, Happiness & New Beginnings

Welcome, January 2024!

This month, we may feel and experience the connecting energies of ambition, creation, happiness, new beginnings, and pure raw energy. The energies around us this month are like those present at the moment of the BIG BANG… They inspire us to create a unique connection with our Creator and collaborate on bringing our desires to fruition. I truly feel that this will be a year of significance. When we look back years from now, we will say, “2024 is when it all began.” For some, that type of change can feel very exciting and for others, it may be scary. But here is a secret: there are a few things that you can never run and hide from, even if you try with all of your might. In my opinion, changes in life and God are both ever-present and can see you through all the amazing, interesting and “I am gonna close my eyes and just peak through my fingers” moments in life.

I can honestly say that I am so proud of all of us who are in this moment of time and space. I know that life isn’t always easy but we continue to venture forward on our paths. Each year, I gain more wisdom, not only about myself, but also about how I can better serve my mission in this life and the collective. Last year, my life experienced a much-needed overhaul. For most of the year, all I could do was hang on tightly to my faith and trust that it would be okay. And you know what? It is okay! But, because of the amazing journey I took, I can now share what I learned with all of you.

One of the things we are going to explore together this year is our senses and how to realign to “the real you.” As we experience a world that can be challenging for our senses, I want to provide you all with the opportunity to energetically disconnect from sensory overload and reconnect to your optimal state of rejuvenated senses. Our goal is to create harmony and greater intuition between your body, energy, mind, and soul, allowing you the opportunity to be the true version of yourself. I am excited to share more with you about this as the year unfolds.
