Welcome, January!
This month, you may feel and experience the energies of ambition, happiness, fulfillment, intuition, the power to create “new” in your life, and unity with the Divine Presence. Keep in mind that sometimes during the creative process things can appear overwhelming, which can cause you to feel the need to control and even stubbornness. While it is important to not get stuck in the past, I have always felt there are learning experiences to be had from the past too. It all comes down to the fine balance of knowing what is worth keeping from the past and when it is time to let certain things go. Be prepared for some inner reflection as your body processes the new energy of what is going to be an exciting and important building block in the year ahead.
In the last few years, the collective has been going through a transformation (death) cycle, and lots of things had to be shuffled through and reorganized. While some of this will still play out this year, it does feel like we are moving more into a “void” phase. This phase can feel super uncomfortable as we enter into the unknown, healing our bodies, DNA, hearts, and minds in a greater way, and facing what worries us. The good news is that the “void” is essential for the “New Beginning” phase that will happen before you know it. Remain true to who you are, and what feels best for you as we enter into a world where anything is possible. Stay strong and true to all you experienced and witnessed last year and trust your inner compass (your heart) to always lead you back home.
This month’s playlist will help you upgrade your energy and align it with the new frequencies coming in this year and prepare you for the “new”. Listening to this playlist will help you energetically process the frequencies of the month in a fun way, as I have added some energy healing and support directly into the music.
A brand-new journey is now before us. With each step we take this year, it can appear like we are moving in slow motion, but everything has an ultimate purpose. We begin the year with some wrapping up of three significant Retrogrades. Mars goes direct on the 12th, following Mercury on the 18th, and finally, after being in retrograde for six months, Uranus moves direct on the 22nd. This combination will result in a deep exhale for all of us on different levels.
Here are some other essential things to be on the lookout for this month:
January 3rd/ 4th – Quadrantids Meteor Shower
The Quadrantids is an above-average shower, with up to 40 meteors per hour at its peak. The shower runs annually from January 1st -5th. It peaks this year on the night of the 3rd and the morning of the 4th. This year the nearly full moon will block out most of the fainter meteors. But if you are patient you may still be able to catch a few good ones. The best viewing will be from a dark location after midnight.
January 6th – Full Moon in Cancer
This full moon will bring you good news all day! With some exciting placements between Mercury and Uranus, this may cause happy surprises. The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be fully illuminated. This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Wolf Moon because this was the time of year when hungry wolf packs howled outside their camps. This moon has also been known as the Old Moon and the Moon After Yule. This incredibly glamorous full moon can bring you exciting breakthroughs around pending items. Stay open!
January 21st – New Moon in Aquarius
The Moon will be located on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will not be visible in the night sky. Mars provides some harmonious vibes to this new moon, providing sparks of shimmer and peace in the darkened sky. This is the best time of the month to observe faint objects such as galaxies and star clusters because there is no moonlight to interfere with your view. This is the optimal time to tap into your creativity and be open to increased finances and good luck coming your way.
January 22nd – Lunar New Year/ The year of the Black Water Rabbit
Because the Yin Water element is associated with the color black, some people call this the “Year of the Black Rabbit.” The Yin Water element represents sensitivity, intuition, and, in its most positive form, the way to inner peace. This will be a year to wear red as much as possible and be open to how the Universe unfolds life on your behalf.
“Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year.” Ralph Waldo Emerson
My wish for all of you this year is that you stay true to what feels the very best for you. From special events, people, and places, to everyday situations and moments. Begin to learn about yourself or continue to explore a deeper trust in the relationship you have with yourself. Give each moment the attention it deserves as you go through it. Always carry a sense of hope and peace with you every day, and don’t forget to pack some love too.
Stay Inspired,
Stacey
