April 2024: Endurance, Mastery & Renewal…

Welcome, April 2024!

This month, we may feel and experience the energies of completion, devotion, endurance, mastery, renewal, and stability. However, it is important to remain mindful when fears of inadequacy creep in during this lunar cycle. Pay close attention to what comes through for you and don’t push these feelings down, as you will only be able to truly heal once you begin to ‘inner-stand’ the root cause of your problems. Embrace these feelings and step into the complete renewal process.

We have all been gifted with the most wondrous tool–the human body–which was designed to be able to self-correct and self-heal. Did you also know that, except for the brain, eyes, and heart, every single cell in our body renews itself every seven years? This means that at the ages of 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, 56, 63, 70, 77, 84, 91, and 98 (and if we are blessed, even longer), we all have brand-new and healthy cells flowing through our bodies. The average adult male has around 36 trillion cells in their body, while average adult females have 28 trillion, so it is important to provide our bodies with the right fuel (nourishment) throughout our lives, regardless of what biological age we currently are. Spirit suggests utilizing this month to reconnect to the inner wisdom of your own body. Trust in what resonates for you, observe what happens, and then witness the miracle of what your body does to help it and you thrive!

The first retrograde of2024 has finally arrived! On April 1st, Mercury goes retrograde in Aries and will once again go direct on April 25th. Keep in mind that the post-show phase of Mercury Retrograde will last until May 21st. So when we think of Mercury Retrograde as an uncertain time, use the 8 weeks to review areas of your life that are craving your attention.

Here are some other essential things to look out for this month:

April 8th – New Moon & Total Solar Eclipse in Aries

The Moon will be located on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will not be visible in the night sky. This is the best time of the month to observe faint objects such as galaxies and star clusters because there is no moonlight to interfere. This is the perfect time to proceed slowly with care and caution, and you are bound to see offerings of abundance and luck in your life.

A total solar eclipse will occur on April 8th. This happens when the moon completely blocks the Sun, revealing the Sun’s beautiful outer atmosphere known as the corona. This is a rare event for viewers in the United States. The last total solar eclipse visible in the continental United States occurred in 2017 and the next one will not occur until 2045. The path of totality will begin in the Pacific Ocean and move across parts of Mexico, the Eastern United States, and Nova Scotia. The total eclipse will be visible in parts of Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. Even if you can’t see this were you are, you will certainly feel it. We recommend, even if this eclipse is visible in your area to not look at due to the energy that this eclipse produces.

April 22nd/23rd – Lyrids Meteor Shower

The Lyrids is an average shower, usually producing about 20 meteors per hour at its peak. The shower runs annually from April 16th to 25th.It peaks this year on the night of the 22nd and the morning of the 23rd. These meteors can sometimes produce bright dust trails that last for several seconds. Unfortunately, the glare of the full moon will block out all but the brightest meteors this year. But if you are patient, you may still be able to catch a few good ones. The best viewing will be from a dark location after midnight.

April 23rd – Full Moon in Scorpio

The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun, and its face will be fully illuminated. This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Pink Moon because it marked the appearance of the moss pink. This moon has also been known as the Sprouting Grass Moon, the Growing Moon, and the Egg Moon. Many coastal tribes called it the Fish Moon because this was the time that the shad swam upstream to spawn. Pluto will be at play with this moon, so the fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius) may find this moon difficult as Pluto encourages changes, and the fixed signs, by nature, have a unique relationship with change. All signs should try to go with the flow and move their body with this Full Moon.

March 2024: Compassion, Growth, & Inspiration …

Welcome, March 2024!

This month, we may feel and experience the energies of compassion, energy expansion, growth, inspiration, and spend time reflecting on the past, present, and future as you continue to cultivate your path ahead. I have been through so many challenges in the last few months, yet I am excited to continue growing and healing with the new Spring season. There is something special about witnessing the rebirth of nature, when the animals, flowers, and trees awaken from the Winter months. This wondrous time mirrors our own healing process in life, and how after a period of inward reflection, we can lift our faces to the sky and once again say hello to the world, reborn in our own way. Many of you have probably heard that everything in life is a vibration, but did you know that the cells in our bodies carry information from every lifetime of our soul? So, when you do the inner work on yourself, you are doing it for the past, present and future you all at the same time. As Spring is upon us this month, we can all expect a moment when we feel that the lights had been off, and now they are coming on again. Light is coming back to the world to balance things.

I was reflecting on a personal story of change recently. If this sounds familiar, raise your hand. The year 2001, the time… a couple of days before Senior Prom. With my first impending nodal return and a Solar Eclipse in my first house (house of self) approaching (completely unaware at the time that a nodal return is like a realignment of a destined path), I did what any teenage girl would have done. I went over to a friend’s house with a store-brand hair highlight kit we had both purchased! (Trust me, I know better now!) This was one of those kits that involved placing a cap on your head and threading strands of hair through tiny holes to get the perfect highlight. Or so the box claimed. To make a long and funny story shorter, I can tell you, by the end of that experience, I turned to my friend and I said, “I think something went really wrong.” As I looked in the mirror, I saw that my entire head, which started off as a dark brown, was now very bleach blond. Then, I had to take corrective measures and get professional help. With all the changes in the air, if you want to create drastic changes in life, sometimes it is easier to seek the right kind of help from the beginning instead of trying to do it all yourself.

With the energies this month, we also experience Daylight savings on the 10th. If you find yourself having a hard time with the time change, try drinking more water and doing some mild exercise to help avoid a hard transition with turning the clocks forward.

Use March to look at these areas in your life, and see what inspires you? Where do you need growth? What areas do you have compassion for others and passions within you? Harness that and take action on it.

As we enter into the last retrograde free month of 2024, this is the perfect moment to make adjustments to the plan. Perhaps you need to let something go, to make room for something new to enter. Or, you may need to make different personal choices, or co-create a brand-new path for yourself. Whatever you have been inwardly planting the last few months, itis now time to put those seeds in the light and start to watch them as they begin to grow. My personal experience tells me that the best way to let something grow is organically, and without any personal attachments to a desired outcome. This can be incredibly difficult to do sometimes, and that is where the art of surrendering can come in very handy.

March 10th – New Moon in Pisces

The Moon will be located on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will not be visible in the night sky. This positive new moon will spark creativity, imagination, and ingenuity that Walt Disney would have loved to harness. This is the best time of the month to observe faint objects such as galaxies and star clusters because there is no moonlight to interfere.

March 19th/20th – Spring Equinox

The Sun will shine directly on the equator, and there will be nearly equal amounts of day and night throughout the world. This is also the first day of spring (vernal equinox) in the Northern Hemisphere and the first day of fall (autumnal equinox) in the Southern Hemisphere.

March 25th – Full Moon & Penumbral Lunar Eclipse in Libra

The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be fully illuminated. An epiphany will arise in you this moon as you reach a pinnacle moment on your path, and this moment promises upcoming joy. This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Worm Moon because this was the time of year when the ground would begin to soften and the earthworms would reappear. A penumbral lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes through the Earth’s partial shadow, or penumbra. During this type of eclipse, the Moon will darken slightly but not completely. The eclipse will be visible throughout all North America, Mexico, Central America, and South America. Remember, even if you can’t see it where you are, you will certainly still feel it!

February 2024: Balance, Grace, & Love…

Welcome, February 2024!

This month, we may feel and experience the energies of balance, decisiveness, gentle kindness, grace, love, and understanding. The energies around us will feel like a huge sigh of relief for our systems, and we will be able to connect with our emotions in a truly deeper way if we give ourselves permission to look through the looking glass and trust our intuition.

February also provides us with the opportunity to take an inventory of “The Self.” Take a good look at your life and see what has expired, what’s still good, or what is in need of updating, then make adjustments as you are guided intuitively. Remember, as you update your life, things around you will also need updating. Itis best to dismiss any resistance to this new inventory sheet – try your best to see how everything is going to work out and trust that it just will. I have had some time to contemplate the last 18 years this month while Pluto, the planet of transformation, was dancing with my sun, and I can say with absolute certainty that I am a better person because of this transit. While the tiny slow-moving planet can seem like it is taking a Sunday stroll and going at the pace it wants, my advice to all Aquarius Moon, Rising, and Suns is that itis best to embrace the changes instead of resisting them, and cultivate your inner equilibrium. What a month this will be for all of us to start doing that!

February 24th – Full Moon in Virgo

The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun, and its face will be fully illuminated. This lucky full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Snow Moon because the heaviest snows usually fell during this time of the year. Since the harsh weather made hunting difficult, this moon has also been known by some tribes as the Hunger Moon. With Jupiter and Saturn making friendly aspects to this moon, many will benefit from positive breaks, good luck, and happy results. This is a great day to connect with nature.

January 2024:Creation, Happiness & New Beginnings

Welcome, January 2024!

This month, we may feel and experience the connecting energies of ambition, creation, happiness, new beginnings, and pure raw energy. The energies around us this month are like those present at the moment of the BIG BANG… They inspire us to create a unique connection with our Creator and collaborate on bringing our desires to fruition. I truly feel that this will be a year of significance. When we look back years from now, we will say, “2024 is when it all began.” For some, that type of change can feel very exciting and for others, it may be scary. But here is a secret: there are a few things that you can never run and hide from, even if you try with all of your might. In my opinion, changes in life and God are both ever-present and can see you through all the amazing, interesting and “I am gonna close my eyes and just peak through my fingers” moments in life.

I can honestly say that I am so proud of all of us who are in this moment of time and space. I know that life isn’t always easy but we continue to venture forward on our paths. Each year, I gain more wisdom, not only about myself, but also about how I can better serve my mission in this life and the collective. Last year, my life experienced a much-needed overhaul. For most of the year, all I could do was hang on tightly to my faith and trust that it would be okay. And you know what? It is okay! But, because of the amazing journey I took, I can now share what I learned with all of you.

One of the things we are going to explore together this year is our senses and how to realign to “the real you.” As we experience a world that can be challenging for our senses, I want to provide you all with the opportunity to energetically disconnect from sensory overload and reconnect to your optimal state of rejuvenated senses. Our goal is to create harmony and greater intuition between your body, energy, mind, and soul, allowing you the opportunity to be the true version of yourself. I am excited to share more with you about this as the year unfolds.

January 25th – Full Moon in Leo

The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be fully illuminated. This Full Moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Wolf Moon because this was the time of year when hungry wolf packs howled outside their camps. This moon has also been know as the Old Moon and the Moon After Yule. This Full Moon brings in the happy and exciting adventures that your soul is craving. This month, we may feel and experience the connecting energies of your previous incarnations as you expand the possibilities of regeneration in your body. And we can’t forget the most important thing this month will bring… Miracles. This is a prime opportunity to connect with your fellow Soul tribe members, and doing so may help you in your learning experience.

Whatever this month brings, remember where you need a miracle, whether it’s in health, love, finances, family, or finding your purpose, reach out this month and grab it, and don’t let go. All you have to do is believe and you will get more divine support than you could ever imagine. Even if the miracle doesn’t play out how you thought it would, it will be the miracle you need. Embrace the wonder of the season and celebrate all this month has to offer. Let go and release what you don’t want to deal with anymore and let your purpose surprise you as it does for Peter Lake in “A Winter’s Tale.”

I have had a lot of time to ponder over these past twelve months. I felt a little hesitant going into this year for many reasons, but I didn’t really have another option. For many of us, this has been a year of facing uncomfortable things that some of us didn’t want to deal with, and then making different choices and decisions than we previously would have. We moved into a time where we started checking in with our hearts and hopefully listening to what felt right for us to do.

I feel it is safe to say that the last few years have been rough for many of us. There were some challenging astrological transits and the clearing of stubborn energies in the midst of a great, worldwide collective shift. But that is when we enter the 11th Universal Law of Rhythm. Cycles are a natural part of the Universe. Physically, you can see this rhythm in the seasons on Earth. In our own lives, we can remember that integrating the body into the rhythm is just as important as growth.

This year, we were asked to take note of our inner rhythms and try to work with them instead of fighting them. Going into this year, you may have had a thought about what you were going to work on and then learned that your plans were completely different than what the Universe had in store for you. But, remember, even though it may seem like the Universe is out to get you, it isn’t. We all face different challenges, setbacks, and illnesses because they will either help us grow and expand or help us see and learn about areas in our lives that need attention or those we were either ignoring or avoiding. Here are some things I learned this year:

Always be grateful for the experience you receive each new day, even when it is difficult to appreciate in the moment.
Different people will have different options based on what they know, but it is so important to do what feels right for you in your heart.
It is okay to have fun again and to allow your inner child to feel safe again.
Laughter is the greatest medicine EVER!
This too really will pass.

It is important to spend a little time reflecting on the last year and all you experienced and learned along the way because you wouldn’t be this version of yourself without the past year. Honor your journey and the path your soul chooses to walk and remember that you are never truly walking your path alone. Be grateful for what you have, but never give up on what you feel is part of your life mission here on this beautiful Earth we have been gifted and where we can experience the bravest thing of all…LIFE!

The Universe shifts this month as the asteroid Chiron, and the planets Jupiter, Neptune, and Uranus are in Retrograde as we begin December. The good news is that most of these Retrogrades will once again move direct as Neptune moves direct on December 6th,Chiron on December 26th, and lastly, Jupiter on December 30th. But just when you thought it was safe to step out into the world, Mercury goes retrograde one last time this year in the sign of Capricorn on December 13th and goes direct on January 1st, 2024. This will surely bring some positive changes for all as hope and optimism are restored throughout the world.

Here are some other essential things to be on the lookout for this month:

December 12th – New Moon in Sagittarius

The Moon will be located on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will not be visible in the night sky. This is the best time of the month to observe faint objects such as galaxies and star clusters because there is no moonlight to interfere. This new moon conjuncts Mars and provides an energy boost and a sense of excitement. It’s the perfect time to plan for future success.

December 13th/14th – Geminids Meteor Shower

The Geminids shower is the king of the meteor showers. It is considered by many to be the most spectacular shower in the heavens, producing up to 120 multi colored meteors per hour at its peak. It is produced by debris left behind by an asteroid known as 3200 Phaethon, which was discovered in 1982. The shower runs annually from December 7th to 17th. It peaks this year on the night of the 13th and the morning of the 14th. This should be a great year for the Geminids. The nearly new moon means dark skies for what should be an excellent show. The best viewing will be from a dark location after midnight. If you view one meteor shower this year, this is the one to watch!

December 21st – Winter Solstice

The South Pole of the Earth will be tilted toward the Sun, which will have reached its southern most position in the sky and will be directly over the Tropic of Capricorn at 23.44 degrees south latitude, once again welcoming back the light with the yearly celebration of the return of the Sun. This is a truly powerful day and one of the Miracles of this time of year. You should expect to feel confidence and joy flowing through you. Some may even start being open to asking for help when they need it as the Sun and Jupiter make an interesting aspect. This is the first day of winter (winter solstice)in the Northern Hemisphere and the first day of summer (summer solstice) in the Southern Hemisphere. December 21st/22nd – Ursids Meteor Shower

The Ursids is a minor meteor shower producing about 5-10 meteors per hour. It is produced by dust grains left behind by comet Tuttle, which was first discovered in 1790. The shower runs annually from December 17th to25th. It peaks this year on the night of the 21st and the morning of the 22nd. The waxing gibbous moon will block out most of the faintest meteors this year, but if you are patient, you should still be able to catch a few good ones.

December 26th – Full Moon in Cancer

The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be fully illuminated. This full moon will provide you with the sweetest Holiday gift of the year with its enchanting vibes. This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Cold Moon because this is the time of year when the cold winter air settles in and the nights become long and dark. This moon has also been known as the Long Nights Moon and the Moon Before Yule.

November 2023: Balance, Gratitude & Vision …

Welcome, November 2023!

This month, we may feel and experience the energies of gratitude, illumination, intuition, and vision. These energies will help us find balance in all areas of who we are and what we do, especially in our emotional thoughts and our connection with Spirit. It is also a great month to balance our Feminine and Masculine energies and bring balance between our mission and self/spirit care. This is the time when listening to and trusting your own intuition will be key for all of us as we venture through previously uncharted waters on this beautiful planet. Use the incoming balanced energy to gather all that is in alignment for you and give thanks for what you have in your life, and all you have gone through. Go with the flow and allow the Universe to deliver unplanned surprises through your life experience.

I was recently reminded of a cataclysmic experience I had many moons ago. I was supposed to go to a Dalai Lama teaching event in Philadelphia, but it was canceled due to the Dalai Lama’s poor health. Shortly after finding out that the event was canceled, the Universe provided me with another opportunity – a private healing session and Despacho Ceremony & Karpay with Don Humberto Soncco Quispe, aQ’ero Master Shaman and Incan High Priest from the mountains outside Cuzco, Peru. The Universe did not disappoint me on the trade, and at that point in my life, the experience with Don Humberto on a personal level set things in motion for me in such a profoundly transformational way that it ultimately guided me to exactly where I was always meant to be. Above all, when the Universe delivers change to your door, embrace it and lean into it, don’t turn it away! You never know how the experience may enlighten you.

With the asteroid Chiron, and the planets Jupiter, Neptune, Saturn, and Uranus in Retrograde as we begin November, I feel we can safely assume two things: we should anticipate more changes within the collective and our personal lives, and expect the unexpected. The good news is that Saturn, the planet known for “karma,” will once again be going direct on November 4th. Depending on where you live in the world, November may be the harbinger of coldness and darkness, while other are as will experience longer days and warmer weather. This time of year can be really challenging for many, and for a variety of reasons. Spirit’s advice is to implement positive changes in your life to reduce as much stress as you can, such as allowing yourself to follow your heart, breathing techniques, connecting with nature as referenced above, giving yourself permission to truly feel your feelings, and practicing mindfulness around everyday decisions.

November 4th/5th – Taurids Meteor Shower

The Taurids is along-running minor meteor shower producing only about 5-10 meteors per hour. The shower runs annually from September 7th to December 10th. It peaks this year on the night of November 4th and the morning of the 5th. The second quarter moon may block most of the dim meteors this year, but if you are patient, you may still be able to catch a few good ones. The best viewing will be just after midnight from a dark location far away from city lights.

November 13th – New Moon in Scorpio

The Moon will be located on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will not be visible in the night sky. This day will bring quick and sudden changes and news without much warning. Anything that the Universe feels is no longer in alignment with you and your future will soon fall away. This is the best time of the month to observe faint objects such as galaxies and star clusters because there is no moonlight to interfere.

November 17th/18th – Leonids Meteor Shower

The Leonids is an average shower, producing up to 15 meteors per hour at its peak. This shower is unique in that it has a cyclonic peak about every 33 years when you can see hundreds of meteors per hour. The last of these occurred in 2001. The shower runs annually from November 6th to 30th. It peaks this year on the night of the 17th and the morning of the 18th. The crescent moon will set before midnight, leaving dark skies for what should be a great early morning show. The best viewing will be from a dark location after midnight.

November 27th – Full Moon in Gemini

The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be fully illuminated. Remember that during times of stress, how we communicate matters. You may also feel a greater sense of responsibility with this moon phase. This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Beaver Moon because this was the time of year to set the beaver traps before the swamps and rivers froze. It has also been known as the Frosty Moon and the Dark Moon.

October 2023: New Changes, Peace & Wholeness…

Welcome, October 2023!

This month, we may feel and experience the energies of adaptability, confidence, and creative power that will lead to determination, peace, and success. The winds of change are on the move once again! But this time the winds will be guiding you toward brand new changes in all aspects of your life. Think of October as the “Tree of Life.” Some of us will see dietary changes being made, and others may be presented with life-changing decisions this month.

I remember watching the 2006 movie, “Click,” and thinking how underrated it was. The movie is based on The Magic Thread, a folk tale in The Book of Virtues, and follows the story of an undervalued employee who struggles to manage his work and family commitments. One day, he is gifted a magical remote control that has the power to control the world around him, like speeding up the mundane parts of his life to enjoy the high points. He quickly learns that it’s many of the small things in life that are truly important, and skipping through life without them ultimately leads to dissatisfaction and disconnection from those we love. A couple of takeaways are to try to enjoy every moment in life and to do what brings joy to your heart. This month, take a small step to incorporate more joy!

With the famous asteroid Chiron, and the planets Jupiter, Neptune, Pluto, Saturn, and Uranus all in Retrograde, as October begins, I feel the Cosmos are telling us that change is no longer an option, but a necessity as we venture on. On October 10th, Pluto moves direct, but the changes that Pluto brings throughout the month will be profound. Those who wish to stay in the familiar yet uncomfortable will find this month challenging. And those who may be saying, “Bring on the changes, I am so ready!” may be greeted by a need for patience. We are not meant to rush through life, we are truly meant to enjoy every moment. The Draconids is a minor meteor shower producing only about 10 meteors per hour. The Draconids is an annual shower in that the best viewing is in the early evening instead of early morning like most other showers. The shower runs annually from October 6th to 10th and peaks this year on the night of the 8th and the morning of the 9th. The second quarter moon will be visible in the early morning but shouldn’t interfere too much.

October14th – New Moon & Annual Solar Eclipse in Libra

The Moon will be located on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will not be visible in the night sky. This is the best time of the month to observe faint objects such as galaxies and star clusters because there is no moonlight to interfere. An annual solar eclipse occurs when the Moon is too far away from the Earth to completely cover the Sun. This results in a ring of light around the darkened Moon. The Sun’s corona is not visible during an annular eclipse. The eclipse path will begin in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of southern Canada and move across the south western United States and Central America, Columbia, and Brazil. A partial eclipse will be visible throughout much of North and South America. Even if you don’t see the Eclipse, you will surely feel it in more than one way. As the planets come into agreement, it opens up new possibilities for collaboration and new partnerships are now available. Heads up for all Libra Rising and Libra Sun people, be prepared to be impacted by significant changes over the next six to twelve months to your outer reality for Libra Rising or to your soul for Libra Suns.

October 20th/21st – Orionids Meteor Shower

The Orionids is an average shower producing up to 20 meteors per hour at its peak. It is produced by dust grains left behind by comet Halley, which has been known and observed since ancient times. The shower runs annually from October 2nd to November 7th.It peaks this year on the night of October 20th and the morning of October21st. The first quarter moon may block some of the dim meteors in the evening, but it will set shortly after midnight. This will leave dark skies for what could be a good morning show.

October28 – Full Moon & Partial Lunar Eclipse in Taurus

The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be fully illuminated. This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Hunter’s Moon because at this time of year, the leaves are falling, and the game is fat and ready to hunt. This moon has also been known as the Travel Moon and the Blood Moon. Perhaps one of the most energetically friendly eclipses of 2023, this is a great day to shine some light on your communication and finances. A partial lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes through the Earth’s partial shadow or penumbra, and only a portion of it passes through the darkest shadow or umbra. During this type of eclipse, a part of the Moon will darken as it moves through the Earth’s shadow. The eclipse will be visible throughout all of Europe, Asia, Africa, and Western Australia. As with any eclipse, even if you don’t see this event, you will feel it! Heads up for all Taurus Rising and Taurus Sun people, be prepared to be impacted by significant changes

over the next six to twelve months to your outer reality for Taurus Rising or to your soul for Taurus Suns.

September 2023: Destiny, Enlightenment & Inner Wisdom…

Welcome, September 2023!

This month, we may feel and experience the energies of awakening, destiny, enlightenment, connecting more deeply with our inner wisdom, aspects of aligning our life purpose and soul mission, and a test of our inner strength. You should also be on the lookout for the moments that you feel stuck in past behaviors, especially around “people pleasing” and learning to say “no” to certain things. This will be highlighted more intensely this month as the South Node (Karma/Past Lives) is in focus. September also brings the opportunity to do a deep dive and explore parts of ourselves we haven’t uncovered yet, like true feelings we have perhaps hidden in the past, or for some, the chronic feeling of being unworthy of good in life. Whatever it may be for you personally, Spirit is suggesting that you finally begin to truly explore it.

I have heard that the one constant in life is change. While I have personally come to agree with that statement, it took me years of resisting the potential of change in my own life. While I don’t regret the years I spent in this state of resistance, I have come to see the benefits of simply being in the flow of the Universe and trusting in the timely unfolding of life. Spirit is encouraging all of us to take a moment this month and reflect on the times when we may have been resistant to change. Then notice how that change unfolded for you. You may even be guided to journal about your own personal relationship to change. I remember, years ago, I was so insistent that I wouldn’t change to an Apple phone. At the time I was a hardcore Android girl. It was what I had known for so many years. Finally, when I made the switch, it was truly an amazing experience that simplified my life tremendously. Lean into change as you would lean into faith in unknown times.

With Mercury, Neptune, Pluto, Saturn, Uranus, and Venus in Retrograde, as the month begins, I feel it is safe to say we have officially entered into the twister scene of The Wizard of Oz! As we watch all that we know, all that is familiar fly by us, trying to hold on to it, it seems everything escapes our grasp. The good thing about this is that slowly, over the course of this month, two planets will exit retrograde, Venus on September 3rd, and Mercury on September 15th. However, we aren’t quite ready to fully land in technicolor Oz just yet as on September 4th, Jupiter, the planet of abundance and change, goes retrograde for the next four months.

While the beginning of the month may certainly feel chaotic, there is hope to be had by following some key steps to thriving during any retrograde season:

Acknowledge the past and really connect with your feelings.
Add some citrus and mint to your every day beverages.
Remain as present as possible.

Have faith that soon you will be on the other side and be able to witness the wonders of your own journey.

September 23rd – Autumn Equinox in Libra

The Sun will shine directly on the equator and there will be nearly equal amounts of day and night throughout the world. This is also the first day of fall (autumnal equinox) in the Northern Hemisphere and the first day of spring (vernal equinox) in the Southern Hemisphere.

September 29th – Full Moon, Supermoon in Aries

The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be fully illuminated. Love is in the air under this moon phase as Mars and Venus are having enchanting adventures in the sky. This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Corn Moon because the corn is harvested around this time of year. This moon is also known as the Harvest Moon. The Harvest Moon is the full moon that occurs closest to the September equinox each year. This is also the last of four supermoons for 2023. The Moon will be near its closest approach to the Earth and may look slightly larger and brighter than usual.

August 2023: Abundance, Integrity & Transformation…

Welcome, August 2023!

This month, we may feel and experience the energies of abundance, ambition, balance between forces, compassion, energy, integrity, and transformation. We will feel ourselves coming into unity with our own North Node (individual fate) as we shed the old outer layer of our past selves like a snake and present a new version of ourselves to the world. We will go on a journey this month. It may feel like you are on a boat with Willy Wonka as you float down a river of chocolate, like in the movie, with adventure, twists, turns, and the unknowns ahead. But, if you fully step into your inner strength and remember what you have the capacity to become, you will be greeted by the Universe with powerful tools and greater wisdom, and the end of the river ride. Be aware that everyone has the opportunity to shine their light extra bright this month!

Time to get colorful and playful. I am talking about your clothing, food, and vibe. Pull out the bright colors, patterns, movements, and playfulness, and don’t be afraid to act with confidence as you step into your inner lion. Try something new, step out of your comfort zone, be bold in your intentions, listen to music as loud as you want, and don’t be afraid to dance while in the spotlight. When we truly follow our hearts and face a life-altering decision, we will not fear the “new” that is being presented to us in August.

Under this Full Moon, the planets align to produce profits in finances but be mindful of keeping calm this day. The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth from the Sun and will be fully illuminated. This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Sturgeon Moon because the large sturgeon fish of the Great Lakes and other major lakes were more easily caught at this time of year. This moon has also been known as the Green Corn Moon and the Grain Moon.

August 12th/13th – Perseids Meteor Shower

The Perseids are one of the best meteor showers to observe, producing up to 60 meteors per hour at their peak. The Perseids are famous for producing many bright meteors. The shower runs annually from July 17th to August 24th. It peaks this year on the night of August 12th and the morning of August 13th. The crescent moon should not be too much of a problem this year as the skies should still be dark enough for a good show. The best viewing will be from a dark location after midnight.

August 16th – New Moon in Leo

The Moon will be located on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will not be visible in the night sky. Some may find this New Moon to be a surprise of mixed energies, with some interesting aspects with Jupiter, Mars, Pluto, and Uranus. The message with this New Moon is to keep the faith and remember that being resourceful can keep you on your path. This is the best time of the month to observe faint objects such as galaxies and star clusters because there is no moonlight to interfere.

August 30th – Full Moon, Supermoon, Blue Moon in Pisces

The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth from the Sun and its face will be fully illuminated. On this day, the Universal energies align to some confusing energy, which may leave you feeling a little unsure. Follow your heart and accept responsibility, and you may be met with some great ideas at the last minute. This is also the third of four supermoons for 2023. The Moon will be near its closest approach to the Earth and may look slightly larger and brighter than usual. Since this is the second full moon in the same month, it is sometimes referred to as a blue moon.

July 2023: Enlightenment, intuition & Spirituality…

Welcome, July 2023!

This month, you may feel and experience the energies of the “Collective Consciousness,” Enlightenment, Intuition, Spiritual Awakening, and Spiritual Development, allowing you to reflect inward, achieve greater clarity, and heal while learning to understand others. It is important to stay grounded as there will be moments of slight disruptions as new changes come in. These moments maybe seen in your physical reality as well as in your body, emotions, or mental health. Some may just feel a little off. If you find yourself feeling that way, I encourage you to check in with your body and energy and have a conversation to find out what would be helpful for your next steps. This month, view your inner temple as your tower of truth, and let it guide you.

Spirit is reminding me of a game I used to play as a child. I would go outside and spin around as fast as I could, over and over, then I would immediately lie down in the grass. When I did this, it would make it seem like the sky was also spinning. Sometimes it made me feel dizzy, but other times I felt like I was in my own personal planetarium watching the sky as it changed, and it was glorious. Many people may find themselves experiencing this spinning effect as the month plays out. Can this cycle be uncomfortable? Absolutely! But, if you can feel into the sensations that you experience this month, you may find the most amazing things along the way.

Let’s be honest, there is a whole lot of energy going on right now! From Earth upgrades to four planetary Retrogrades by the end of the month, and Solar flares ─ we are getting it from every direction. While I am personally not one to take a position on being tested by the Universe, this month may certainly feel that way.

We start the month with Neptune, Pluto and Saturn in Retrograde, and on July 22nd, Venus, the planet of love, will go Retrograde in the sign of Leo. This will result in some very important questions for us all once again and will help us as we realign to what is in true service to our greatest good, and ultimately, the Divine Mission we signed up for before coming to Earth.

July 3rd – Full Moon, Supermoon in Capricorn.

The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be fully illuminated. This stabilizing Full Moon will aid in providing conclusions, good fortune, and ensuring a happy outcome. This full moon was called the Buck Moon by early Native American tribes because the male buck deer would begin to grow their new antlers at this time of year. This moon has also been known as the Thunder Moon and the Hay Moon. This is also the first of four supermoons for 2023. The Moon will be near its closest approach to the Earth and may look slightly larger and brighter than usual.

July16th/17th – New Moon in Cancer

This New Moon will happen the night of the 16th on the west coast, and the morning of the 17th on the east coast. The Moon will be located on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will not be visible in the night sky. This is a ‘think outside the box’ day, that may provide mixed emotions. But, if you remain grounded and optimistic, you will do well, this is the best time of the month to observe faint objects such as galaxies and star clusters because there is no moonlight to interfere. Also taking place on the 17th the North Node will move into the sign of Aries and the South Node will shift into Libra for the next 18 months.

July 29th/30th – Delta Aquarids Meteor Shower

The Delta Aquarids is an average shower that can produce up to 20 meteors per hour at its peak. The shower runs annually from July 12th to August 23rd. It peaks this year on the night of July 29th and the morning of July 30th. The nearly full moon in Aquarius, occurring late at night on the 30th on the west coast, and in the early hours of August 1st on the east coast, will block most of the fainter meteors this year. But if you are patient, you may still be able to catch a few good ones. The best viewing will be from a dark location after midnight. Meteors will radiate from the constellation Aquarius, but can appear any where in the sky.
